Join us for this 8-week Adult Bible Fellowship class as we look at stories from the life of Jesus and learn how to share these same stories in a simple way with our friends or others in our community who are far from God. Baptism 101 for Young Believers

November 12 & 19  •  Ridge Kids Elementary

For elementary aged children who are able to read on their own, the Baptism 101 Class is designed to be fun and informative while showing what baptism represents and what it means to have Jesus as Lord and Savior. The Ridge Kids Elementary Ministry offers this class approximately every 3 months at the BA Campus at 9:00 a.m. Parents should plan to attend with their child.

Fall Break Middle School Mission Trip

October 19-21, 2017

For all Middle School students (grades 6-8): don’t miss this awesome time of service and fun together. We’ll be traveling to Houston, TX during fall break, October 19-21, to assist in the effort to clean out homes that have been flooded from Hurricane Harvey. We will end our trip by stopping by Six Flags in Dallas before heading home.

  • Depart at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19
    **Coweta and Sapulpa students: meet at your campuses at 7:30 a.m.
  • Return Saturday, October 21, at approximately 11:30 p.m.
  • We’ll be staying in churches in Houston on Thursday night and in the Dallas area on Friday night
  • Cost: $85 if registered and paid for by October 15 ($100 after October 15) plus money for 4 meals and optional spending money while at Six Flags
  • Firewood Hours:  students who have worked “firewood” hours will be able to use these funds to pay for up to half of the MS Mission Trip

How do I sign up?

Register online; then turn in a 2017 Medical Release (if one is not already on file) and your registration fee. If you have questions, please contact one of the CRCC Student Ministers: Ryan Bennett – BA Campus, Matt Guinn – Coweta Campus, or Jacob – Sapulpa Campus.

Congregational Vote November 5

On Sunday, November 5, a formal affirmation vote will be taken before and after services at all campuses to confirm the following elder candidates: David Long and Tim Woolsey.

  • Requirements for Voting:
    • To be a member of Cedar Ridge Christian Church at least 6 months (placed membership on or before May 7, 2017)
    • To be at least 18 years of age
    • To have been in attendance for at least 60% of the worship services since May 7, 2017
  • Absentee Ballots:
    • If you are unable to be present for the congregational vote, absentee ballots will be available in the church office, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,  Monday, October 30 through Friday, November 3.

Trunk or Treat – October 31

Cedar Ridge Coweta: 6 – 8 p.m.

Cedar Ridge Sapulpa: 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Invite your neighbors, bring your friends, drag the whole family along and join us for Trunk or Treat at either the Coweta Campus or the Sapulpa Campus on Tuesday, October 31. Wear your fun (not scary!) costumes and join us for a great night.

How can you be involved?

Decorate your trunk. Show up by 5:30 p.m. on October 31st to set up and pass out candy. We’re looking for a minimum of 20 cars at each campus. If you can help in this area, please click one of the links below:

 

 

Donate a bag (or two or three or more!) of candy to be handed out. Drop your donations off at any Cedar Ridge campus lobby.

Ridge Student Ministry at Cedar Ridge Coweta

For all Coweta Middle School and High School students (grades 6-12): join us on Sunday mornings at 10:02 a.m. at Cedar Ridge Coweta to hang out together, catch up on what’s happening in our Student Ministry, share news about any upcoming events, and learn from God’s word.

We will also meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Ridge Coweta for games, community, and teaching.
