Operation Foster Christmas

September 6th, 2017|BA Campus, Children, News, Uncategorized|

Ridge Kids, in conjunction with the Psalm82Three Ministry (Cedar Ridge’s Foster Care Ministry) will be collecting items to stuff Christmas stockings for kids in the foster care system. Our goal is fill 100 stockings by November 8th. The Psalm 82Three Ministry will distribute the filled stockings to foster families within Cedar Ridge and to those in our community.

How does this work?
Donations of small toys, toiletry items, school supplies, etc. can be made to the RidgeKids.tv store. Our elementary-aged kids will then use their Ridge Kids bucks (earned on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights) to purchase these items that will be used to fill stockings. Not only will this benefit foster care children in our community, it will also provide an opportunity for our own Cedar Ridge kids to invest in “giving” to others.

How can you help?
Donate items listed below to be used in the RidgeKids.tv store. Remember…items need to fit in Christmas stockings with several other items!

  • Toiletry items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, small sizes of hand sanitizer and hand lotion, combs, small hairbrushes, and hair accessories
  • Small toys such as yo-yos, fidget spinners, hot wheels, hand-sized dolls, play dough, toy jewelry, and small stuffed animals
  • School supplies such as crayons, stickers, mini notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpeners
  • Candy

If you have questions, or for more information, please contact Micheal Byrd, Children’s Minister.

Ridge Groups

March 15th, 2017|BA Campus, Coweta Campus, Men, Registration, Sapulpa Campus, Women|

What is a Ridge Group?

Ridge Groups are small groups (typically 10—12 people) designed to encourage close relationships and connection with others on a deeper level through Bible study, service together, personal encouragement and support for each other through life’s storms.

Why are small groups important?

God wired us for relationships. We grow spiritually with other people in ways that we will never grow on our own.  Christian maturity best takes place in the context of relationships and true life-sharing can only happen in a smaller circle of community.

When do Ridge Groups meet?

Groups meet several times a month on various days of the week and in various locations throughout the community. Each group chooses their own meeting day, time and location. We will assist you in finding a group that is meeting at a time and location that is best for you.

What about childcare?

We encourage each group to determine what best meets the needs of their group. Each Ridge Group handles their own childcare.

How do I join a Ridge Group?

If you would like help getting connected with a Ridge Group that is right for you, please call the church office, 918-254-0621, or complete this form. For more info, contact the following:
