The elders are committed to providing leadership, vision, teaching, and shepherding for all of God’s people who attend Cedar Ridge Christian Church. Our fervent prayer is that our church’s outreach efforts will proclaim and exalt the name of Jesus Christ throughout the community, that families and lives will be touched by the ministries of the church, and that our body of believers will continue to love and encourage one another up until the day of our blessed Lord’s return.

1 Peter 5:2,3 (NLT)

Care for the flock of God entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly — not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your good example.


The deacons are servants and messengers serving at each campus. The word “deacon” comes from the Greek word diákonos, which means “thoroughly raise up dust by moving in a hurry,” and so to minister.

1 Timothy 3:8-10 (NLT)—

…deacons are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.
